Keynote talk at H2DeKo conference in Halle
Gave my first keynote talk this week!
Thanks again for inviting me to talk about the role of imports in hydrogen-based green value chains at the 5th German-Korean Hydrogen conference (H2DeKo).
Really great to learn about Korean perspectives on H₂ too (which seem to differ from German ones on some aspects!). Looks like Korean colleagues are more optimistic regarding the use H₂ in heavy-duty vehicles and in the energy sector.
Also very useful to talk to experts from a more technical background (given I tend to look at the topic from a much broader angle). I learnt a lot about electrolysis technologies (including eg SOEC) and LH₂ as a transport vector.
Finally, thanks so much to Sistan Rasuli and Klemens Ilse for all the efforts in putting the conference together and to the Leopoldina for hosting us in their beautiful venue in Halle!
